Membership Levels Explained
Most of our memberships run for a full year, from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. Membership renewals always run for that period, regardless of renewal date.
New members – those registering for the first time – pay a reduced rate, depending on the time of year that they sign up. When choosing a new membership, choose the level that corresponds to your initial sign up date.
Associate memberships always run from July 1st to June 30th. They are not pro-rated regardless of sign up date. This level of membership is only open to dancers who already pay a full membership fee to another club. Please make sure to include your other club’s name when signing up for an associate membership.

Right now you can see the new online registration pages, but payments are not yet being accepted. (click the down arrow next to “Membership” to view these options). We will send out a news bulletin when payment processing has been added here. Until then, please continue to use the paper form to submit your request.
Membership Badges
Once you have signed up for any membership level, you can purchase a club badge. In the new ordering system, you must pay for your membership FIRST, then return to this section to order a badge.
The Honky Tonk Queen contest wasn’t always the only big crowd pleaser at convention. Two conventions (Baltimore and Vancouver) hosted a Hunky Trunks King competition, where the best bodies were on display, and included a fun ‘pool tip’. Sadly, the Hunky Trunks competition is no more. And the beautful Bathing Belles, who organized the event and who themselves appeared in the most gorgeous bathing wear at those conventions, have not been sighted in recent years. This was the ‘Golden Age’ of gay square dancing!
